1. Stump's Alpenrose in Toggenburg
7 mountains - 7 hosts - 7 ways to welcome you: Located in the former sawmill in Wildhaus amidst the idyllic Toggenburg. Stump's Alpenrose is now a charming country hotel with over 100 years of family tradition and top-notch personal service.
This typically Swiss hotel lies just 200m from the picturesque Schwendi lake and boasts stunning views of the Säntis mountain. In addition to the dreamlike location, this country hotel scores with a small but fine wellness area and its regional cuisine, in which the motto "Preservatives, conservatives and artificial flavours get a no-no at the Alpenrose!" applies.
"Behind the moon to the left" - as St. Antönien describes itself - surrounded by a breathtaking mountain backdrop, you will find yet another hidden hotel gem: the boutique Hotel Madrisajoch in the small Walser village of St. Antönien in Prättigau.
