From now on, 1 Swiss franc will be donated to SOS-Children's Villages Switzerland with every new order. We support this organisation, which gives children in need a loving home in over 135 countries.
SOS-Children’s Villages provides a loving home for children in need and strengthens vulnerable families in over 135 countries. Through programmes focusing on education, health and income generation, we enable children and families to shape their own futures.
The SOS-Children’s Villages Switzerland Foundation is a private, non-political and non-denominational child welfare organisation and finances SOS Children’s Villages and its associated programmes in order to strengthen families in developing countries.
Our 360-degree approach
Our focus is on the long-term development of every child – including care, health and education – so that as adults they are able to cope with life’s challenges self-sufficiently. Income-generating measures and emergency relief projects also ensure that families in need are able to care for their children themselves. Together with beneficiaries, local institutions and partner organisations, we establish stable social structures in the local area, thereby contributing to the long-term development of whole communities.
Our impact worldwide
SOS Children’s Villages has already reached approximately four million children and young people around the world with its programmes. Every child cared for goes on to have an impact on 10 more people in their environment. In this way, we contribute to the long-term development of communities. Every franc donated and invested generates five francs in added value for the community in question. The SOS Children’s Villages Switzerland Foundation has held the Zewo seal of quality since 1989.
